It's that time again!
We are excited to announce our 9th Annual Fall Banquet!
We really hope you will be able to attend again this year!
In fact, I'm going to be honest and admit something to you...
In a ministry like KB...that is...one which can be quite demanding at times, it is always VERY encouraging to all of us here--staff, board and residents alike--when people who support our ministry, and who we consider to be our family and friends, come and encourage us with their presence and fellowship at our events!
Why am I saying that? Because I want it to be clear that as a non-profit organization, due to the nature of this type of ministry, we can become easy targets for discouragement.
And so, when YOU take valuable time out of your own personal schedule to come and show your support for KB...well, it means more to us than we probably convey! For us, this goes way beyond the obvious need we have to find and raise up a strong base of supporters (something EVERY non-profit has to do.) Your words, your friendship, your simply being there with us...it means everything! It helps us keep pressing forward on those difficult days when we feel like giving up; to know there are people behind us who care and are praying for us! And then...when we get to see you in person and reconnect at events like this...well, we really look forward to these!
So, on Thursday, September 14th, beginning with a SILENT auction (from 5-6pm) we are going to have our 9th Annual Fall Banquet which will also include a meal and a LIVE auction, as well as opportunities for you to hear from some of our staff, board, and residents as we share what God IS doing in our ministry, and what we believe some of the NEXT STEPS are looking forward!
*Also, keep an eye out for posts on our website and each of our social media!
