Jail/Prison Songs

A story song based on when Paul and Silas were thrown in jail, worshipped God in the middle of the night and an earthquake shook all the inmates free from their chains. You can read the story in Acts 16.

"If you have ever been locked in a jail cell or a prison, this song is for you...whether it was a physical place made of stone blocks and iron bars, or the overwhelming, crushing place in your emotions, where your thoughts were such a heavy burden you didn't think you would ever find peace or freedom again.

"Maybe you've worn chains that were digging into your wrists and ankles...or maybe you've worn the even heavier chains of fear, depression, guilt, shame, anguish, offense, bitterness, hopelessness, trauma and loss, which actually dig deeper and are much harder to escape."

Christmas Songs

A few years ago, Timothy Bariteau, one of KB's staff members, wrote this song for himself & anyone else who may be needing a way to express the pain of being separated from loved ones at Christmas time.

Take a listen to his song, and if it blesses you and you know someone else who may need to hear it, please SHARE it with them, too!

Tim wrote this song back in December 2005.
"The idea was simple: To write a Christmas-themed song, but one that remained a true 'vertical' worship song. In other words, not just singing info ABOUT God, like some 'religious' Christmas songs/carols, but singing heartfelt worship directly TO God."
