Use God's Zipper
Use God's Zipper
Ever try to take a big winter jacket off without unzipping it? You can struggle and struggle, pulling, pushing, and straining, but you will probably just end up red faced and frustrated, and a little embarrassed, if anyone was watching. But if you just unzip the big jacket, it just slides right off, no problem. Why? Because that’s the way it was designed.
Many times, Christians trying to get free from an area of sin in their life look like someone trying to get a big heavy winter jacket off without unzipping it. They can struggle and struggle, fighting, pushing, and pulling, but many times they just end up red faced, frustrated, and ashamed.
The problem is the dominion of sin isn’t conquered through will power; it’s conquered through Jesus and His Grace. Before the big heavy jacket of sin’s dominion can be removed, we must first unzip the condemnation off of someone’s life. Freedom from condemnation comes FIRST, then freedom from the dominion of sin follows. Just like the zipper on the big heavy winter jacket must first be unzipped, then the jacket easily comes off.
So it is with sin, Jesus took the punishment for our sin. He bore the shame and He was condemned on the cross for us. Now that we are in Him there is NOW NO CONDEMNATION!!! When you remove the condemnation, you remove the power of sin to cling to you. But only Jesus and His Grace can unzip that heavy burden of sin and shame and call that beautiful new creation forth that YOU really are in Him.
As a Christian, you’re going to make mistakes, but don’t let the devil put you in a strait jacket of condemnation. NO!!! You keep your eyes on Jesus and His finished work, and enjoy His wonderful Grace, and live the free life from the dominion of sin. YOU are the righteousness of God. YOU are forgiven. YOU are loved. TAKE THE JACKET OFF!!!

Saying Goodbye to a Great Man
Saying Goodbye to a Great Man
On January 18, 2024, the world said goodbye to an amazing man of God, Pastor Al Peratt.
He was one-of-a-kind, a true brother in Christ, and a dear friend!
Pastor Al Peratt, we will miss you deeply! But we know we will be reunited one day!
Until then, enjoy your rest after a long, hard life, lived in service to our King!
This tribute video was lovingly made by Stephan Harrison and Timothy Bariteau, in honor of our dear friend.
When we both sat down with Pastor Al on November 16, 2023 to talk about making this video for his family and friends after he went to live forever with His Lord Jesus, Al specifically chose each of the songs in this video.
Al’s life touched so many people, perhaps even yours!
If so, I hope this video brings you comfort as you remember the ways Jesus ministered to you through this man.
And I pray we will all be encouraged to live OUR lives fully surrendered to Jesus, too,
just as we saw demonstrated so well by Pastor Al Peratt.
Can one person make a difference in the world?
Absolutely!
Jesus did.
Paul the Apostle did.
Many others throughout history have…
And now we can say Pastor Al did, too.
This gives me hope that I can.
How about you?

The Work Continues...
The Work Continues...
Progress is steadily being made on the two Dakota Ave apartments, which were purchased last spring. Security doors and cameras have been installed all around the facility. Three of our former residents, plus one current one, are working hard every day to get these two buildings completed as soon as possible. By early Feb '24, we will already have seven tenants living in the smaller building! Although these two building are not technically a part of Kingdom Boundaries, they are a blessing because we now have more possible housing options to suggest to men after they are ready to move out of our ministry.
